Each Brigid has been printed uniquely in different colouring, the colours may vary from print to print, I use a palette of green orange blue and red
Or navy and red
Or black
the print depicts the symbols of Brigid, her cloak, the triskele, snowdrops, dandelions, the oak tree, the crescent moon, her eternal flame, it also shows the offerings that people leave out for her on the 31st of January before the dawn of Imbolc.
Due to the nature of the printing process there may be small variations from print to print. This is very much one reason why hand printed linocuts are special. Each is unique
All prints are signed and numbered (if a limited edition).
