The goddess Danú
Mother of the Tuatha Dé Danann: Her name is associatated with the "Tuatha Dé Danann," meaning "the peoples of the goddess Danu". She is strongly linked to the land, fertility, and abundance. She is associated with the elemental forces of nature, especially water, rivers, and wind.
I tried to capture her life giving free flowing power.
The print features the fern, the oak leaf and the hawthorn leaf.
Due to the nature of the printing process there may be small variations from print to print. This is very much one reason why hand printed linocuts are special. Each is unique!
